Privacy Policy

Information regarding the protection of personal data in accordance with EU Regulation 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 and Legislative Decree 30 June 2003, n.196.

The following information is provided in order to describe the methods of processing of personal information provided by users of our services in order to allow the expression of free and informed consent.

We would like to remind you that according to the Privacy Code, the processing of personal data means any operation or set of operations, carried out with or without the help of electronic means, concerning the collection, registration, organization, conservation, consultation, processing, modification, selection, extraction, comparison, use, interconnection, blocking, communication, diffusion, cancellation and destruction of data, even if not registered in a database.

The data processing carried out by Borgo19 will be based on principles of correctness, lawfulness, and transparency in order to offer the best protection of confidentiality and customer rights.

Holders and responsible for the treatment

The data controller is Borgo 19, with a registered office in Via Porrettana 19, near Sasso Marconi, Bologna, Italy.

The updated list of data processors, where appointed, is available at the above-mentioned offices.

The customer may contact the Data Controller at any time to exercise his/her rights as provided for by art. 7 of the code.

Data retention and security measures

The data will be stored for the time established by the reference legislation on Borgo19 servers.

In any case, the data storage period will be equal to the duration of the contractual relationship between the customer and the owner of the treatment.

In the event that the customer proceeds to the cancellation of his/her account, therefore ceasing to use the services, the data will be deleted, except for the need to comply with contractual, administrative, fiscal, accounting, or legal requirements following the cessation of the use of the service. As soon as these obligations are fulfilled, the data will in any case be deleted.

Optional supply of data

Apart from that specified for navigation data, the user is free to provide personal data contained in the Borgo19 request forms or indicated in contacts to request newsletters, information material, or other communications. Failure to provide such data may make it impossible to obtain what has been requested.

Secure data cancellation

With the Provision of October 13, 2008 (G.U. n. 287, December 9, 2008), the Guarantor wanted to illustrate some suggestions for the proper reuse, recycling, or disposal of electrical and electronic equipment, which was followed by the information sheet of December 12, 2008, containing the recommendations of the operators to carry out a safe erasure of data. Borgo19 is aware that the "destruction or cancellation of data" is fully within the scope of the processing operations envisaged by the Data Protection Code, and carries out data cancellation using the wiping technique, which is carried out using automatic tools.

Right of access to personal data and other rights

The interested party has the right to obtain confirmation of the existence or not of personal data concerning him, even if not yet recorded, and their communication in intelligible form.

The interested party has the right to obtain the indication of

  • of the origin of the personal data

  • of the purposes and modalities of the treatment

  • the logic applied in case of treatment with the aid of electronic instruments;

  • the identity of the owner, manager, and the representative appointed under article 5, paragraph 2;

  • of the entities or categories of entity to whom or which the personal data may be communicated and who or which may get to know said data in their capacity as designated representative(s) in the State's territory, data processor(s) or person(s) in charge of the processing.

 

The interested party has, moreover, the right to obtain the indication of:

- the updating, rectification, or, when interested, the integration of data;

- the cancellation, transformation into anonymous form, or blocking of data processed unlawfully, including data whose retention is unnecessary for the purposes for which the data were collected or subsequently processed;

- certification that the operations referred to in paragraphs 1. and 2. have been notified, also as regards their contents, to those to whom the data were communicated or disseminated, unless this requirement proves impossible or involves a manifestly disproportionate to the protected right.

 

The interested party has the right to oppose, in whole or in part:

  • for legitimate reasons, to the processing of personal data concerning him/her, even though they are relevant to the purpose of the collection;

  • to the processing of personal data concerning him/her, where it is carried out for the purpose of sending advertising materials or direct selling or else for the performance of market or commercial communication surveys.

 

Purposes of the treatment

The personal data provided by users will be processed by our company in order to

  • implement the contractually agreed service and any additional services required;

  • comply with legal, accounting, and fiscal obligations;

  • protect the rights of our company and its representatives and/or appointees in court.

 

Updating of the informative report

Borgo19 will keep this information constantly updated. The "Last Updated" section at the bottom of the page indicates the date on which the information was updated. Furthermore, Borgo19 will publish the updated information notice on or via its website.
